The UC Irvine campus is about 4 miles from Orange County John Wayne Airport (SNA) so that's your best bet if you're flying in from out-of-town. UC Irvine has negotiated discounted rates with many hotels near the airport and UCI (in Costa Mesa, Irvine and Newport Beach). Several hotels provide a shuttle to/from the airport, and to/from UCI. Be sure to verify with the hotel whether shuttle service is offered and whether there is a fee for this service. There is a drop-off zone near W Peltason Dr. and Pereira Drive, Irvine, CA, near the UCI Conference Center.

Unfortunately, there's no on-campus housing available to us this year. We'd like to suggest checking out the Atrium Hotel, adjacent to John Wayne Airport and just a few miles from the campus. They offer a free shuttle service to UCI, free breakfast, free WiFi, and free parking.
