Get Your Head in "The Cloud" with AWS

It's 2014, and "The Cloud" should no longer be considered a buzzword. Cloud providers like, Amazon Web Services (AWS), provide a plethora of infrastructure and application web services to help PHP developers build scalable and highly available applications in the cloud. Let's talk about the cloud, AWS, and the AWS SDK for PHP as we discuss some of the steps and techniques for building scalable web applications. We'll use AWS SDK for PHP to interact with some AWS services, like Amazon S3, from within our Laravel application, and then we'll deploy our application to the cloud using some other AWS services like AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
