While often overlooked or just considered a necessary obligation, project documentation can play a crucial in a project's success. Documentation should be much more than the training manual that no one has time to create before a site launches, it should serve site of collaboration and play an important role at every stage of a project’s lifecycle. This session will provide an overview of the project discovery process and examine the function of the following documents:

- Business Requirements
- User Personas
- Information Architecture
- Wireframes
- Design Concepts
- Systems Requirements
- Development Plan

This session will encourage attendees to reflect on the role of documentation and describe a process-oriented approach to performing project discoveries. It will consider how project documentation can function as a living archive, helping keep your team and project stakeholders on the same page and helping ensure your project's success.
